WINTER 2008
Searching for the true meaning of the holidays…
As we are forced to forge our way in this new world we must look to the past to find answers
and comfort.
Have you ever felt in your own life, even for just a minute,
that things had spun out of control?
With the advance of
technology and the media we are exposed to all of
the offerings
of the world, the dangling carrots are plentiful.
Yet most of us have not been taught the
skills of how to
concentrate and focus only on what is truly important.
Perhaps that is the best gift we can share with our children
and loved ones this holiday season.
Dare to be the first
to set new standards for holiday cheer.
– share a special recipe or simply time with friends and family,
home make gift cards
with your children or engage them in the
heartfelt activity of creating something with pride
to give their
teachers, aunts and uncles and other special people.
Let’s look to the past, the simpler times, and
bring back
the traditions that created warmth and cheer for our families
from generations past.
