The Giordano Foundation Day of Healing for Women

The Giordano Foundation for Women’s Health and Education will host the fourth annual Day of Healing for women on Sunday, October 18 at the Dobbs Ferry Women’s Club, 54 Clinton Avenue, Dobbs Ferry in Westchester County, NY. This special event is open to women with any type of chronic condition who wish to enjoy a special day of healing and the companionship and support of other women. All participants will have a schedule that will include workshops, gentle movement classes, a variety of healing techniques such as reiki, reflexology, healing touch, mini-astrology readings and angel readings. In addition a fabulous healthy lunch will be catered.

This year features some of the Hudson Valley’s most respected holistic practitioners including Omega Energy Healer Kia Abilay, Australian Intuitive and Energy Healer Bente Hansen, Cranio-Sacral Specialist Karim Fugel, Reflexologist Gabrielle Zale, Reiki Master Catherine Anesi, IET® Practitioner Betty Sue Hanson, Astrologer Demitra Vassiliadis, Feldenkrais® Practitioner Carol Moran and Inspirational Speaker and Workshop Leader Cathleen O’Connor.

Come join with other women in a celebration of self-care and healing. For a $50 tax-deductible contribution, each participant will receive two private sessions as well as group meditations, workshops on dreams and giving and receiving, an astrology lecture, a gentle interactive movement workshop, some select shopping if desired and a wonderful lunch. It promises to be a day of joy, camaraderie and connection.

The mission of the Barbara E. Giordano Foundation is to provide women with opportunities that can enrich and empower their lives. Financial assistance is available to women in need. Please inquire when calling to register. Space is limited to 30 women. Sign-in begins at 9:00am. Programs start at 9:30am. Street parking available. Semi-circular driveway may be used for drop-off and pick-up. No wheelchair access available. Some stairs. Please advise any special needs at time of registration.
